Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy describes how plan changes, cancellations and refunds work at StoriYaari. It applies to all paid plans and add-on purchases on storiyaari.com.

1. No refunds on monthly subscriptions

StoriYaari monthly subscriptions (Pro, Agency) are non-refundable once the billing cycle has started. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for unused time. This keeps our pricing low for everyone.

2. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel any time from Account → Subscription → Cancel plan. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle:

  • You keep all paid-plan benefits until the end of the cycle.
  • We will not charge you again after that.
  • Your data is preserved — you can resume any time without losing trips or bucket lists.

3. Upgrades and downgrades

  • Upgrades take effect immediately on successful payment.
  • Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You keep your current plan benefits until then, no mid-cycle charges or credits.
  • You can schedule and cancel downgrades freely up to the cycle end-date.

4. Trip credits (agencies)

  • Trip credits purchased for per-trip billing are non-refundable once granted to your account.
  • Trip credits never expire — they remain in your wallet until used.
  • Bulk credit packs ship at the discounted price shown at checkout; the discount is not separately refundable.

5. Exceptions

We will issue a full refund only in the following cases:

  • Duplicate charge — we accidentally charged you twice for the same purchase.
  • Failed service delivery — we billed you but the plan/credits were not granted within 7 days.
  • Legal requirement — any consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction that overrides this policy.

To request a refund under these exceptions, email contact@storiyaari.com within 30 days of the charge with your order ID. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

6. Chargebacks

Before initiating a card chargeback, please contact us first — we'll almost always resolve issues faster directly. Unsubstantiated chargebacks may result in your account being permanently suspended.

7. Free trials & promotional credits

Free trial periods automatically convert to paid plans at the end of the trial unless cancelled in advance. Promotional credits and discount codes have no cash value and are not refundable.

8. Account closure

Closing your account does not entitle you to a refund of unused subscription time or trip credits. Please time your cancellation before your next renewal date.
