Terms of Use

Welcome to StoriYaari. These Terms of Use form a legally binding agreement between you and StoriYaari. By creating an account or using any part of the service you agree to be bound by them.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use StoriYaari, and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction. If you are using StoriYaari on behalf of a company, agency or other organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your password safe.
One person per account. Sharing logins is not permitted; use the collaboration features instead.
Travel agencies must register as Agency accounts and complete verification.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use StoriYaari to plan or facilitate illegal activity.
Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, hateful, or sexually explicit.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service.
Resell or sub-license the platform without a signed agreement.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without refund.

4. Plans, billing and changes

StoriYaari offers Free, Pro and Agency plans plus add-on trip credits.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled.
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan from Account → Subscription. Upgrades take effect immediately on payment. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (GST, VAT, sales tax). The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
All payments are processed by Cashfree or Razorpay; we never see or store your card number.

5. Refunds & cancellation

See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details. In short: no refunds on monthly subscriptions, cancellation is effective at end of current cycle, trip credits are non-refundable once granted but never expire.

6. Your content

You own everything you put into StoriYaari (trip data, itineraries, photos, comments). By uploading it you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence solely to operate and improve the service. We never use your private content for advertising or to train external AI models without your explicit consent.

You are responsible for the legality of any content you upload, including ensuring you have the right to share photos and information about third parties.

7. AI features

StoriYaari uses third-party large language models (e.g. Claude, OpenAI, Gemini) to generate itineraries and recommendations. AI output may be inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable — always double-check critical details (opening hours, bookings, visa rules) before relying on them.

8. Travel disclaimer

StoriYaari is a planning tool, not a travel agent. We do not sell flights, hotels or tickets directly. We are not liable for travel disruption, supplier failure, currency fluctuations, weather, or anything that happens on your trip. Always read the terms of the suppliers (airlines, hotels, attractions) you book with directly.

9. Intellectual property

The StoriYaari name, logo, software, and UI are our property and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may not copy them without written permission.

10. Termination

You may stop using StoriYaari and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or for any other reason after providing reasonable notice. Sections that by their nature should survive (IP, disclaimers, limits of liability) will survive termination.

11. Disclaimers & limit of liability

StoriYaari is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim, or ₹10,000 (whichever is greater). We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. We will email you and show an in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continuing to use StoriYaari after they take effect means you accept them.
